The long weekend marked the end of the first week where I actually, and finally, feel VERY pregnant. I’ve started to feel heavy, I no longer sleep through the night, I think I’ve acquired a little bit of a waddle walk, I get bouts of shortness of breath, and yes its soooooo difficult to prostrate in prayer now, Allah help me. [Update: Thanks Nan for sharing the set-ur-knees-apart tip! Selenge kan I didn't think of it before? I swear its not intuitive!]
But it was a lovely weekend… let me share bits and pieces of it with you….
Saturday Morning
Spent a quiet morning at Harem, with dear bride-to-be Kia. I was there to get some pampering treats which I deem myself deserving of after a long looong week. My spa pedicure (I can no longer reach my toes!) was fabulously done, as usual. Thank you Aunty Saedah!
Saturday Afternoon
Drove down to town for our second hypnobirthing class. It was another enjoyable session, which included the all-important relaxation exercises, light touch massage technique for the hubbies (its really addictive i must warn you… meant to be employed during labour to ease wifey’s discomforts), bonding with baby.. and more birthing videos which made me tear again. Yes I’m becoming such a crybaby. Or is it normal for women to get really emotional towards the end of the pregnancy? I seem to cry at every little sweet thing lately!
Sunday Morning
Kia’s sweet solemnisation ceremony at Sultan Mosque… congrats my dear! Happy discovering the incredible dimensions of His Love through marriage… Welcome to the Club!
Sunday Afternoon
Rushed across the Causeway to my parent’s place in JB, to help Ibu prepare for my in-laws’ visit. Here are some photos of adorable Husna attempting to play golf on our lawn… she’s such a precious cutie!
To be continued….
